Abstract

Pre-modern dentistry in Korea developed as part of traditional medicine during the Gojoseon, Three Kingdoms Period, Goryeo, and Joseon Dynasty, and modern dentistry developed with the introduction of dentistry through the West and the introduction of dentistry through Japan. Modern dentistry has developed through the establishment and activities of the Dental Association.
